It was once the gateway for the "Longinus" coming from the full south, which arrived with the couplings from the south. The old house that used to be the North Longitudinal Railway Station (FCLN) is the most important landmark in the sector known as the "first camp" of railway housing.

This semi-circular building, built at the beginning of the 20th century, is built mainly of Oregon pine and zinc with capacity for 16 steam locomotives. This is the milestone that leads us to tour the productive and industrial sector of the Railway Complex, in which we will be able to learn about the work techniques, tools and machinery that were used.

This milestone refers to the most inhabited sector of the railway complex, which had a large number of houses for railway workers and their families. in this sector there was a small civic neighborhood in which the basic school, the Santiago Watt union headquarters, a cultural center, public baths, multi-court etc. were located.
